Product Support Specialist
£Competitive salary.
Full-time position based in Bury St Edmunds (Office hours: Mon-Fri 8.30am -5pm)
As part of the Customer Service team, this new role will be responsible for providing product technical support for our range of amenity products, throughout the UK and Ireland based from our head office. This is a great opportunity for a committed and sales savvy individual to take this new role forward and become part of the team in an exciting phase of growth.
Responsibilities
- A true, two days are never the same role! Expect a lot of variety in our department with different challenges throughout the year.
- The main objective of this role is to provide an unbeatable level of product support, technical advice and pricing to customers as well as supporting the field sales team where required.
- You’ll be dealing with customers and prospects either by phone, electronically or face to face, which may involve occasional travel to customer sites for sales support or troubleshooting. You will also be performing due diligence on leads entering the business, through several different channels.
- Part of the role will involve becoming our brand champion for one of our sister brands, and you’ll be analysing industry trends and market demands to recommend product enhancements and see these through to launch with the development and marketing teams.
Requirements
Sales experience (ideally with telephone-based sales experience)
Background knowledge of the amenity sector, with appreciation of agriculture sector
Sharp thinking and an eye for detail
The ability to communicate persuasively
Drive and enthusiasm for meeting targets
PC literacy
Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
