Overstone Park Golf Club is a prestigious proprietary owned 18-hole parkland golf course situated some 4 miles north of Northampton town. The golf course is free draining, and is playable all year due to its undulating fairways and good drainage. In addition to the golf Course Manager's duties and responsibilities the successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the greenkeeping team, and lodge landscaping team.
The Course Manager will be an integral part of the overall management of the Resort, and will attend monthly management meetings. The Course Manager will report directly to the Group Managing Director.
The successful applicant must be a team player who can lead by example. The successful applicant should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in all aspects of modern greenkeeping with the relevant qualifications to at least NVQ Level 3. This post requires a hands-on approach from a highly motivated individual.
The successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate a proven track record with regard to planning, organising and implementing work programmes; to be able to prepare and implement budgets; have a sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, First Aid trained and hold PA1/2&6A spraying certificates.
