Greenkeepers required for Dwellcourt Group
Dwellcourt Group owns two golf courses in Surrey:
Kingswood in Tadworth was designed in the 1920’s by the five times open champion, James Braid, and comprises 6,900 yards of golfing experience. A mature course, one of the leading courses in Surrey, it has undergone extensive re-design and construction under the guidance of Howard Swan. This recent investment in excess of £500,000 has elevated Kingswood ever closer to its goal of being one of the very best golf courses in the south east.
Silvermere in Cobham is set amongst some of Surrey’s finest countryside. The Par-71 course winds through dense woodland, open parkland and finishes with a couple of tricky shots across the stunning Silvermere Lake. It is undoubtedly one of the most challenging public courses in the region.
The successful candidates will be expected to undertake all routine golf course maintenance tasks: cutting grass, brushing greens, repairing divots, maintaining golf course furniture, plus gardening and cleaning duties using relevant machinery and equipment (training will be provided where relevant).
Candidates should have:
- Two/three years’ experience of greenkeeping, and NVQ2 in Sports Turf Management and Maintenance.
- Ability to take instruction and work within a small team.
- A knowledge and understanding of golf.
- Attention to detail and passion for the job.
- An interest in further training and development within greenkeeping.
The position is full-time, permanent, and is a great opportunity to join a small, hardworking and committed team of people. We are offering a competitive salary based on a 40-hour week plus overtime; 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays); and company pension.
