EXPERIENCED GREENKEEPER REQUIRED
Wharton Park Golf and Country Club is situated in the historic picturesque Georgian town of Bewdley, Worcestershire.
The golf club is a privately owned family run business which has benefited from a significant investment throughout the club and course over the last few years, an investment that will continue going forward helping to create one of the Midlands finest golfing venues.
The 18 hole championship par 71 Howard Swan designed golf course is wrapped around a 43 acre Royal Forest and is blessed with some outstanding views to compliment the challenging golf course.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the daily running and management of the course to a high standard, coupled with excellent safety awareness and outstanding customer service.
Applicants will need to possess the following qualifications, skills and necessary experience:
Highly motivated, passionate individual with a keen eye for detail, presentation and aesthetics.
Qualified to NVQ level 2 or higher in turf management/maintenance.
Experienced in the use, daily preparation, operation and maintenance of modern green keeping machinery.
Experience in the use and maintenance of irrigation systems.
Spraying and chainsaw certificates advantageous, but not essential.
Possess the ability to work to and create effective work schedules.
Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
