An opportunity has arisen for the positions of Head Greenkeeperat Eyemouth Golf Club.
This 18 hole par 72 cliff top Championship course situated on the spectacular Berwickshire coastline boasts two outstanding and unique holes. The par 3 6th ‘A-Still-No-Ken’ voted ‘Britain’s No1 Most Extraordinary Golf Hole’ and the par 5 13th ‘Hawkness’ monster is Scotland’s longest hole off the back tee.
Head Greenkeeper. Job Description.
To be considered for this position it is essential to have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Green keeping or equivalent
- Supervisory experience
- Current UK driving license
- PA1, 2 and 6a spraying certificates
- Detailed understanding of turf management
- Be able to work weekend rota shifts
It would be an advantage but not essential to have:
- Irrigation experience including repair and maintenance
- NPTC Chainsaw license
- Good working knowledge of fine turf machinery
- Construction experience
- Current First Aid Certificate
Remuneration will be based on skill level and experience.
