Mechanic

We are looking to recruit a person who has experience maintaining horticultural machinery within a multi-disciplined environment. Through the maintenance and servicing of our fleet of machinery you will support the Estates team in the development of the sports pitches and facilities, along with the conservation and enhancement of the Collegeâs estate.
You will be tasked to maintain horticultural machinery on behalf of our Grounds, Gardens & Golf departments, creating a service plan to enhance the quality of the machines whilst considering the needs of all three departments. You will essentially be a person who is enthusiastic, committed to hard work and who sets and achieves the highest possible standards.
We are currently redeveloping the grounds complex giving the right candidate the opportunity to create a new workshop, which they feel will best suit the needs of the department.
You will be expected to work flexibly, assisting the Estate staff in their absence and be part of an overtime rota to cover sports fixtures and other College events.
