Ealing Golf Club is a private membersâ club based in West London. We are 8 miles from the centre of London and a Harry Colt designed golf course. It is a forward thinking club who are always investing to help meet the business needs. Over the past decade it has installed a state of the art irrigation system and acquired up to date machinery. We are about to complete a fairway drainage project with great success for a clay site.
Ealing Golf Club are looking to recruit an experienced and passionate Deputy Head Greenkeeper. They will assist the Head Greenkeeper and Course Manager in carrying out tasks and implementing procedures for course improvement.
Ideal Candidate:
- Passionate about their role with a strong team mentality
- Strong leadership skill with an ability to motivate people
- Previous deputy position, senior or 1st assistant looking to progress
- Has a high understanding of automatic irrigation system both practically and electronically
- Computer literate with good understanding of word, excel and data collection
- A high attention for detail with experience in training and mentoring others to progress
- Must be flexible and willing to go the extra mile
- Strong understanding of machinery, H&S and ability to train others in preventative maintenance and use of a fleet
Qualifications:
- NVQ level 3 or HNC/HND or relevant greenkeeping experience (minimum 5 Years)
- Qualified in Spraying and hold PA1, PA2 and PA6
- Experienced in Automatic irrigation system with a good practical understanding of fault finding
