Delivering excellent playing surfaces all season is our aim across both championship courses - The Heritage and The International. Both courses designed by Jack Nicklaus and Ron Kirby at Golden Bear Design have hosted professional tournaments including The European Open twice, The London Seniors Masters four times and the Volvo World Matchplay championship in 2014 .

Job Description
For the first time in the history of the club this position is being advertised.
We have a great opportunity for you to lead our team as the Golf Course & Estates Manager with the desire to work at a commercially run club where customer focus drives our thinking.
Key skills and attributes we are looking for:
- Ability to manage a large greenkeeping operation, along with a 30 man team.
- Experienced at strategic planning and development of golf course operations
- Must be experienced at maintaining USGA method constructed greens
- Must be able to deliver tournament quality course set up and presentation
- Must have PA1/PA2/PA6 certification and extensive spraying experience
- Project management, both in house and using external contractors
- Ability to produce project specifications
- Management reporting and technical reporting
- Ability to contribute to the success of the business through commercial awareness
- Ability to read, analyse and understand a profit & loss account
- Setting budgets, monitoring and reviewing, within agreed limits
- Effective negotiation skills
- Self-motivated individual, with drive and initiative
- Ability to project a confident, professional image, verbally and in writing
