West Middlesex Golf Club, a private members club established in 1891 is looking for an ambitious Head Greenkeeper with the desire and ambition to help drive the course forward. The successful candidate should have previous experience at Head Green keeper level or at least 3 years’ experience at Assistant Green Keeper level and be qualified to NVQ L2/3 or equivalent.
The successful candidate would carry out routine golf course maintenance in accordance with the Club’s Course Policy Document and its Health and Safety Policy.
The successful person will be expected to maintain the course to the highest standards for our members and guests with the given budget and resources available.
The successful candidate should meet the following criteria;
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Greenkeeper
- NVQ Level 2/3 in sports turf management
- PA1, 2 and 6 chemical application licenses
- CS 30 and 31 chainsaw certificates
- Machinery maintenance and setup experience
- Irrigation experience including repair and maintenance
- Use of technology, both as a management and communication tool
- Knowledge of procurement of Course Materials, and other related items
The Head Greenkeeper position is full-time, permanent based on a 40 hours’ week with alternate weekend working on a Rota basis. Remuneration will be based on skill level and experience.
