We at Ringway Golf Club are looking for an Assistant Greenkeeper to join our talented and hard working greens team.
Ringway Golf Club was designed by the legendary Harry Colt in 1909, and extended under the guidance of James Braid. Today the course measures around 6,500 yards and is a stern but very fair test for golfers of all abilities. Host to numerous Professional and Amateur events, most recently, the Cheshire Men’s Match Play, the Ladies Northern Counties Foursomes and the Northern qualifier for the prestigious Brabazon Trophy a world ranking event.
The successful candidate should be reliable, enthusiastic, hard working, be able to work on their own initiative or as part of a team, have a passion for green keeping and a desire to keep learning.
Minimum Qualifications
- Level 2 sports turf
- Full drivers licence
- 2 years working on a golf course
Desirable attributes
- Chainsaw qualifications
- Spraying Qualifications
- Level 3 sports turf
Pay will depend on qualifications and experience.
Pay is based on an annualised 40 hours per week average plus regular overtime through summer and for weekends.
